In the 12th match minute, Condados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gustavo Morais's late challenge caught a Condados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Morais helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sardoura FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gustavo Morais hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Álvaro Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Condados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Carvalho having to make a save. Sebastião Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd match minute, Sardoura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Joel Baptista, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Condados FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Paiva to make the kick off. Luís Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, one of Condados FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Condados FC. 1-1 came in the 55th minute when Bruno Moniz all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of David Carvalho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Moniz during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sardoura FC's Marco Moniz got a free kick in the 57th minute. David Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. David Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Pinto in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Pinto in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Carvalho saved Condados FC from getting behind. Bento Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jorge Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. David Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Pinto scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Jorge Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sardoura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jorge Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Sérgio Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Costa during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Condados FC's Joaquim Costa got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Condados FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sardoura FC.
