Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adelino Fonseca kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Meieiras's zone, Inácio Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Teixeira came out of the goal and Inácio Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Campos having to make a save. In the 15thth minute of the game Inácio Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meieiras's Tomás Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuno Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Fonseca in the 19th minute of play. Carlos Cardoso in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Campos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Inácio Marques got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tomás Teixeira handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Inácio Rodrigues hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Inácio Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nuno Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 39 in the game by Carlos Cardoso from a close distance when the talented Nuno Campos managed to make a qualified save. Arialva's players were relieved. In the 42nd minute Inácio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Marques in the 46th minute of play forced Meieiras's goalkeeper Tomás Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Lopes made a kick off. In the 52nd play minute Inácio Marques came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tomás Teixeira. 0-1. When Adelino Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meieiras's protests and gave Adelino Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Meieiras got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Fonseca. The supporters of Meieiras booed when Arialva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Cláudio Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rodrigo Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arialva's protests and gave Rodrigo Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Arialva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Figueiredo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Nuno Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Fonseca in the 86th minute of play. Nuno Campos came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Meieiras's Adelino Fonseca. But to his dismay, Adelino Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Carlos Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arialva eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
