Adolfo Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute André Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Nunes in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Pardinhas FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Manuel Marques hit a great ball. With a little luck, Pardinhas FC's Raul Cardoso got control of the ball when Adolfo Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pardinhas FC's Óscar Gaspar pulled a muscle in his back after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 25 minutes into the game, Hélder Gueifão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pindelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pardinhas FC the free kick. Hélder Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cristiano Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pardinhas FC's Cristiano Sá got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hélder Gueifão hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, André Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pindelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Raul Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Carneiro got free with Raul Cardoso in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Carneiro in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Simões made a kick off. Humberto Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Santos in the 58th minute of play. After 64 minutes, André Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pindelo and the Pardinhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes SC Pindelo got a freekick which was hit by André Simões. When Júlio Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SC Pindelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Cunha couldn't finish the play. André Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, André Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pardinhas FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Delfim Teixeira hit a great ball. Xavier Santos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 84th playminute. Adolfo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Raul Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pardinhas FC's Raul Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Simões in the 97th minute of play. The SC Pindelo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pardinhas FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pardinhas FC.
