Alfredo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Martins did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alfredo Alves 6 minutes into the match. Cristiano Moutinho scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Aleixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Casarias FC booed when SC Caparica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Gaspar in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Aleixo saved Casarias FC from getting behind. Bruno Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Pedro Martins came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Casarias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Martins couldn't finish the play. Rui Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Lucas Gaspar fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Caparica's protests and gave Lucas Gaspar a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Miguel Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Gaspar made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Miguel Gaspar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Miguel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casarias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Alfredo Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes SC Caparica got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Vieira. After a defensive mix-up in SC Caparica's zone, Pedro Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Alves came out of the goal and Pedro Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Alves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cristiano Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Caparica's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pedro Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lucas Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot.
