Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustavo Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Vítor Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hortinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arega FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hortinhas the free kick. A collision led to Arega FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rodrigo Ferreira hit a great ball. Diogo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Arega FC's zone, Vítor Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Delgado came out of the goal and Vítor Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Resende's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, António Delgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Faro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Gustavo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gustavo Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Arega FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Gustavo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Tavares having to interfere. Gabriel Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Monteiro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a long run with the ball, Armando Esteves did a trick in the 46th minute in front of Hortinhas's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-1. An impressive performance by Arega FC's Armando Esteves! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Diogo Valente made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Pereira in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Valente in the 58th minute of play forced Arega FC's goalkeeper António Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Valente in the 60th minute of the match. Vítor Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. António Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Nascimento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Carlos Tavares 73 minutes into the match. Carlos Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Nascimento in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Hortinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Nascimento came free, but Carlos Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Pereira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 84th playminute. In the 87th minute, Rui Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Diogo Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hortinhas's Diogo Valente in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arega FC's goalie prevented a goal.
