Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Gil Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pinhancos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Recarei the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, SC Pinhancos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Dias to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Paiva's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Bernardo Matos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Barbosa. SC Recarei's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Carlos Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pinhancos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes, SC Pinhancos's Bernardo Matos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Pinhancos reached it. Gil Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Carlos Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, SC Pinhancos's Gil Martins got control of the ball when Heitor Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Barbosa came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pinhancos's Carlos Pinho. But to his dismay, Carlos Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the game, Carlos Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paulo Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half SC Pinhancos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Porto was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SC Recarei's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Paiva came free, but Paulo Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hugo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Recarei's zone, Gil Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Barbosa came out of the goal and Gil Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gil Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Mário Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gabriel Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, António Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, SC Recarei's goalkeeper Paulo Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Pinho. Gil Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. António Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes SC Pinhancos got a freekick which was hit by António Mendes. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Carlos Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pinhancos's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gil Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabriel Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Pinhancos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
