Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hugo Paiva made the kick off which started today's match. Gil Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tabuacas's Afonso Baptista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Martins. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Vasco Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Afonso Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Gonçalo Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tabuacas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Ferro couldn't finish the play. Gil Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Afonso Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo Ferro during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, one of Tabuacas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tabuacas. Hugo Fontes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Hugo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cândido Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Álvaro Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Hugo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Bessa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cândido Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Pinho in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Carlos Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Baptista to make the kick off. Vítor Soares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cândido Brás. Tabuacas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Carlos Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Antunes took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Martins. Gil Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Paiva in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Brás saved Tabuacas from getting behind. The supporters of Tabuacas booed when SC Pinhancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cândido Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Paiva in the 88th minute of the match. Vasco Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Martins having to interfere. Afonso Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Martins having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Tabuacas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
