Cláudio Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gil Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Cristiano Fragoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cláudio Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, SC Travassos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Almiro Domingos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emílio Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Fábio Nogueira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. José Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Camboso's José Nunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaspar Abreu. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Gil Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Almiro Domingos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Abreu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cláudio Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Travassos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, SC Camboso's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Almeida came free, but Gil Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, José Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Camboso's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Almeida in the 60th minute of the match. If Cláudio Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Cláudio Pinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 71 minutes into the game, Sérgio Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gil Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, SC Camboso's José Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
