Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hélder Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Hélder Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antero Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Lapas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Faria. Evandro lago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Brito. Lapas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso Bentes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Brito. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Gouveia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro lago to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Lapas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sandro Peixoto in the 20th minute really tested Bernardo Brito's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Rogério Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Lapas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Afonso Bentes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Bernardo Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Gouveia defense, Rogério Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antero Setúbal. The Gouveia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antero Setúbal should have stopped the shot. Antero Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lapas FC were furious when Afonso Pires was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Alves to make the kick off. If Américo Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lapas FC's protests and gave Jaime Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Lapas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Gouveia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Hélder Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Antero Setúbal, making the score, 2-4. In the 70th minute, Lapas FC's Hélder Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Lapas FC's Hélder Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Antero Setúbal made a huge save. Hélder Amaral struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Antero Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lapas FC. If Rogério Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lapas FC's Bernardo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Alves in the 84th minute of play. Lapas FC's Hélder Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Joel Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antero Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lapas FC's Bernardo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Alves in the 93rd minute of play. Bernardo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Curado in the 98th minute of the match. The Gouveia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lapas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
