Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolfo Leitão started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Green Lions defense, Adolfo Leitão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Santarém. The Green Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Santarém should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Figueiras in the 9th minute of play forced Green Lions's goalkeeper Telmo Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sabino Boaventura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabino Boaventura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Green Lions's António Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabino Boaventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Edgar Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. António Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Duarte Domingues made a huge save. Adolfo Leitão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Santarém having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Figueiras in the 32nd minute of play forced Green Lions's goalkeeper Telmo Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Vaz in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Duarte Domingues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Guilhufe's zone, António Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Domingues came out of the goal and António Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Boaventura in the 37th minute of the match. When Juvenal Gago fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Guilhufe's protests and gave Juvenal Gago a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Juvenal Gago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Figueiras in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Boaventura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, F.C.Guilhufe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Lameiras to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Green Lions's Sabino Boaventura got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sabino Boaventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Domingues having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Adolfo Leitão took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Telmo Santarém to make any attempt to save it. Telmo Santarém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Figueiras in the 78th minute. The supporters of F.C.Guilhufe booed when Green Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, F.C.Guilhufe's Diogo Figueiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo Santarém narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C.Guilhufe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
