If Júlio Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jorge Pedroso got free in front of the goal in the 9th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gentil Castanheira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Eliseu Sobral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gentil Castanheira. Tua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Chavais's Lourenço Lopes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Diogo Laureano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Sacadura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Prestes in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gentil Castanheira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Tua FC booed when SC Chavais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Nóbrega was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
