Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandro Roriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, SC Ermelo's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Chagas came free, but Hermenegildo Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval Chagas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Roriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute Durval Chagas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Chagas might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermenegildo Trindade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durval Chagas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute Durval Chagas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Borda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Roriz came free, but Jorge Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Normando Trindade charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Normando Trindade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Homero Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Durval Chagas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermenegildo Trindade. SC Ermelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durval Chagas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Borda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Roriz came free, but Jorge Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Roriz in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Sesimbra saved Borda FC from getting behind. Homero Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermenegildo Trindade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Homero Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

SC Ermelo's Hermenegildo Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Chagas in the 53rd minute of play. Homero Piress short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Hermenegildo Trindade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute, Homero Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermenegildo Trindade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 68th minute, Sandro Roriz made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Sesimbra. Borda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 74th minute, Durval Chagas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermenegildo Trindade. The goal made the score 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, Borda FC's Homero Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermenegildo Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Viriato Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ermelo the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Borda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Sesimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Roriz in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Borda FC got a freekick which was hit by Adélio Domingos. Sandro Roriz took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Sesimbra. Jorge Sesimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, SC Ermelo's goalkeeper Hermenegildo Trindade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viriato Miranda. A collision led to SC Ermelo getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Laurentino Guterres hit a great ball. Borda FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
