Jorge Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Moises Salvatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Albertino Dantas made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, António Anjos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caxaria FC's Jorge Monteiro. Jorge Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Caxaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Oliveira came free, but Jorge Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Anjos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albertino Dantas had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping António Viegas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 24th minute, Buéda Canoka's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moises Salvatore fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joaquim Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Joaquim Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Albertino Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Pinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Monteiro. Caxaria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Salvatore in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertino Dantas saved Buéda Canoka from getting behind. Moises Salvatore scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albertino Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 minutes of play, Buéda Canoka's Vasco Oliveira made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Salvatore made a kick off. Albertino Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Salvatore's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 61 minutes, Moises Salvatore made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Buéda Canoka's Albertino Dantas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henrique Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertino Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Francisco Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Buéda Canoka's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Salvatore came free, but Albertino Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Emanuel Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 95th minute of the match Joaquim Castro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joaquim Castro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Buéda Canoka getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Joaquim Castro hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Caxaria FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
