Daniel Moura's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Daniel Mendonça skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Patrício Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Castanhal's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrício Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Ferro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Daniel Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Mendonça. SC Castanhal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 86thth minute of the game Daniel Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Castanhal's Daniel Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Moura in the 87th minute of the match. Diogo Ferro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Pedro Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Castanhal. There was no doubt that SC Guilhufe were the better team. SC Guilhufe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
