Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacob Lima started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Mourelo booed when Casas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Lages in the 5th minute of the match. After 8 minutes of play, Mourelo's Igor Barcelos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Jacob Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Viana was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Matias in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilário Sequeira saved Mourelo from getting behind. Catarino Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilário Sequeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Catarino Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Mourelo's zone, Júlio Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilário Sequeira came out of the goal and Júlio Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Júlio Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilário Sequeira was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Pedro Lages fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mourelo's protests and gave Pedro Lages a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Mourelo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Casas:s goal. Hilário Sequeira went to the wrong direction when Gil Oliveira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Pedro Lages hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Rafael Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Barcelos in the 32nd minute of the match. Igor Barcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Lima in the 40th minute of play forced Casas's goalkeeper Rafael Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hilário Sequeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Mourelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Matias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Casas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mourelo's Pedro Lages tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Casas's Rafael Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Lima in the 59th minute of play. Heitor Nogueira's late challenge caught a Mourelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Casas's Heitor Nogueira got a free kick in the 60th minute. Hilário Sequeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Matias went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Nogueira in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilário Sequeira saved Mourelo from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Aquilino Corte-Real managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mourelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Corte-Real was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacob Lima struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rafael Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mourelo. After having played for 87 minutes, Jacob Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mourelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alex Sesimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mourelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Sesimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Casas's goalkeeper Rafael Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Barcelos. Casas's Augusto Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Augusto Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilário Sequeira was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Alex Sesimbra charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Sesimbra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Mourelo got a freekick which was hit by Alex Sesimbra.
