Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Duarte Garcia made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Sporting CP's Bernardo Amaro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Sporting CP's Fábio Aleixo got control of the ball when Cristiano Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Pacheco got free with Fábio Aleixo in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sporting CP's Duarte Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sporting CP's Fábio Aleixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting CP from getting a goal against them. Armadouro FC's João Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Garcia in the 20th minute of play. Jorge Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. João Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sporting CP's Duarte Garcia in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Armadouro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandre Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Alexandre Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Jorge Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Garcia in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Lúcio Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armadouro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting CP the free kick. Miguel Henriques's late challenge caught a Armadouro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Henriques helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Domingues was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Rafael Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting CP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armadouro FC the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Sporting CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. If David Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Duarte Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lúcio Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fábio Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Aleixo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Armadouro FC's Lúcio Pacheco. But to his dismay, Lúcio Pacheco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 65thth minute of the game Duarte Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armadouro FC's João Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's Jorge Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Armadouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Garcia came free, but João Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Sporting CP got a freekick which was hit by André Assis. Sporting CP's Fábio Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Veiga in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Pacheco came free, but Fábio Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Armadouro FC's Carlos Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fábio Aleixo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. João Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Garcia's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Sporting CP's Mário Borba seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mário Borba the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sporting CP protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mário Borba had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Armadouro FC. David Veiga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fábio Aleixo. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Domingues in the 95th minute of play forced Sporting CP's goalkeeper Fábio Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting CP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Armadouro FC.
