Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Duarte Garcia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Nivaldo Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Academia Saloia a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Israel Malafaia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sporting CP's Fábio Aleixo. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Sporting CP's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Silva came free, but Fábio Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Abrantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Jorge Sousa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gabriel Vilalobos charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Vilalobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Academia Saloia's Pedro Abrantes got control of the ball when Jorge Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Garcia in the 27th minute of play forced Academia Saloia's goalkeeper Pedro Abrantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jorge Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Academia Saloia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Duarte Garcia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Duarte Garcia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Abrantes, passed just outside the right post. Joaquim Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Abrantes made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jorge Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Duarte Garcia in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Abrantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute Duarte Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Abrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Academia Saloia's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Garcia came free, but Pedro Abrantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nivaldo Brito in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nivaldo Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Silva got free with Fábio Aleixo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Sousa took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Abrantes. Pedro Abrantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fábio Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nivaldo Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Azenha in the 65th minute of play forced Sporting CP's goalkeeper Fábio Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia Saloia's João Paredes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Duarte Garcia struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Abrantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting CP. When Sporting CP's Jorge Sousa in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Saloia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Mário Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Israel Malafaia struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fábio Aleixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Saloia. In the 81st minute Duarte Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Abrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Abrantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Sousa's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Pedro Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Garcia in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Gabriel Vilalobos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Sporting CP failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
