Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Severino Saldanha made the kick off which started today's match. When Sabino Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the SC Fervidelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabino Mendes couldn't finish the play. Pedro Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Saldanha in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes SC Fervidelas got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Mendes. In the 23rd minute, Severino Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Lousada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Coimbra having to interfere. Pedro Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Saldanha in the 26th minute of the match. Raul Lousada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Coimbra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Severino Saldanha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Coimbra. The goal made the score 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Raul Lousada notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Fervidelas's Pedro Coimbra. Pedro Coimbra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, Raul Lousada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Coimbra. SC Fervidelas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Lousada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Silvestre Conde could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Pedro Coimbra however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Barcelos was the one to do the kick off. If Kevin Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Silvestre Conde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Rebelo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Rebelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Fervidelas booed when Diful United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Rebelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romão Amaro's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Higino Vigário on his right side and into the goal. 62 minutes into the game it was 3-1. SC Fervidelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Barcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Saldanha in the 90th minute of play. After 94 minutes, Sabino Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Fervidelas and the Diful United players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, Diful United could leave the field as winners, despite SC Fervidelas having more of the ball for most of the match.
