Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Diful United's Severino Saldanha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rubim Balsemão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Higino Vigário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higino Vigário showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Diful United got a freekick which was hit by Damião Portela. Olavo Vargas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Higino Vigário skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Diful United's Higino Vigário got control of the ball when Rubim Balsemão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino Tristão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Lousada went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Higino Vigário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Vargas in the 35th minute of play. Raul Lousada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Bordonhos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Diful United were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Olavo Vargas made the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Conde kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diful United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 61st match minute, Diful United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Conde to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Diful United's goal looked a bit too open when Rubim Balsemão came free, but Higino Vigário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olavo Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Lousada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Olavo Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bordonhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bordonhos FC's zone, Raul Lousada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Tristão came out of the goal and Raul Lousada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Saldanha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Diamantino Tristão 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Saldanha in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Tristão saved Bordonhos FC from getting behind. Raul Lousada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Tristão having to interfere. Olavo Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Diful United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
