Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Heitor Pedroso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Higino Vigário showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Heitor Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Raul Lousada came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Diful United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Lousada couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Diful United booed when Arelho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Severino Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Higino Vigário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diful United's goalkeeper Higino Vigário, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arelho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Severino Saldanha 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Higino Vigário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Pedroso in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Saldanha to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Lousada in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Guerreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severino Saldanha scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Guerreiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Campos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Higino Vigário made a huge save. If Heitor Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Diful United's Silvestre Conde got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Pedroso in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higino Vigário prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arelho's Fernando Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Saldanha in the 73rd minute of play. Diful United's Higino Vigário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Pedroso in the 78th minute of play. Fernando Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Vigário having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Arelho's Heitor Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higino Vigário narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Severino Saldanha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Guerreiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Arelho's Nuno Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diful United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arelho for a fine match.
