Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duarte Reis started the match with the kick off. Heitor Silva was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and José Abreu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Abreu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cristóvão Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Reis in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of SC Alvaroes booed when Ribeiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cristóvão Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Duarte Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36th play minutes Adelino Miranda shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cristóvão Andrade and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 40th minute, Nuno Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Pedro Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristóvão Andrade skillfully saved the ball. If José Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 55th match minute, SC Alvaroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Maia to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Ribeiros FC's Adelino Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Duarte Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Abreu in the 62nd minute of play forced Ribeiros FC's goalkeeper Heitor Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-1 when José Abreu sped through Ribeiros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Heitor Silva. Ribeiros FC's Heitor Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Abreu in the 68th minute of play. Duarte Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cristóvão Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Reis in the 72nd minute of play forced SC Alvaroes's goalkeeper Cristóvão Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adelino Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ribeiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Miranda couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Henrique Leão notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ribeiros FC's Heitor Silva. Heitor Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Adelino Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribeiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duarte Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Andrade stood somewhat misplaced when Duarte Reis came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 91 minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ribeiros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Alvaroes.
