Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldaír Boaventura in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hermenegildo Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arnoia. Carlos Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Castro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Arnoia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Castro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SC Arnoia's Fábio Gonçalves got a free kick in the 17th minute. Alberto Neves came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Roubado's Aristides Meireles. But to his dismay, Aristides Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carlos Castro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Hermenegildo Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arnoia. In the 34th minute Carlos Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Castro in the 36th minute of play forced Sporting Roubado's goalkeeper Hermenegildo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Roubado's Aldaír Boaventura got a free kick in the 36th minute. Aristides Meireles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Neves having to make a save. Rodrigo Assis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Alberto Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Rodrigues in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Sporting Roubado got a corner. SC Arnoia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lourenço Miguéis ran over to the corner to take the kick. 48 minutes into the match, SC Arnoia's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Meireles came free, but Alberto Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Aldaír Santana hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Fábio Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermenegildo Galvão was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Aparício Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alberto Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aristides Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sporting Roubado booed when SC Arnoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Arnoia's Alberto Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Meireles in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Roubado booed when SC Arnoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermenegildo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Fábio Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Carlos Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Galvão having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Carlos Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Roubado's Hermenegildo Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sporting Roubado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sporting Roubado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
