Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Máximo Portela kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, SC Lagoaca's goalkeeper Ivan Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertino Andrade. In the 7th minute, SC Carapecos's Albertino Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Leite. Ivan Leite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Albertino Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SC Carapecos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertino Andrade couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Albertino Andrade notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Lagoaca's Ivan Leite. Ivan Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Vítor Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Leite was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Albertino Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Andrade got free with Ivan Leite in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Abreu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 28th minute, but Ivan Leite got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving SC Lagoaca hanging dry this time. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Andrade got free with Ivan Leite in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máximo Portela kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ivan Leite made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Albertino Andrade sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Vítor Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Ivan Leite managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when SC Carapecos's Albertino Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Albertino Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Vítor Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carapecos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Andrade in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, SC Lagoaca's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Abreu came free, but Ivan Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes SC Lagoaca got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Godinho. In the 68th match minute, SC Lagoaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Portela to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Abreu in the 71st minute of the match. SC Carapecos's Vítor Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Máximo Portela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Vieira having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Albertino Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carapecos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Lagoaca's Jarbas Godinho got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Vítor Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Leite. SC Lagoaca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Alexandre Bettencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Albertino Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Lagoaca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Carapecos.
