Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Moutinho got the match started through his kick off. Óscar Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dércio Portela made a huge save. Lacos FC's Vasco Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Cacos FC's goalkeeper Dércio Portela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Óscar Silva. If Augusto Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Malafaia got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sérgio Magalhães handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 13th minute Nuno Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Portela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Lacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Malafaia came free, but Sérgio Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Valdemar Malafaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Cacos FC's Augusto Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 24th minute, Augusto Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Valdemar Malafaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Augusto Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Lacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. When Augusto Martins came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cacos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Martins couldn't finish the play. If Valdemar Malafaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Mário Perdigão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Augusto Martins came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cacos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Martins couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute of the match Artur Horta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Magalhães skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Malafaia made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nuno Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dércio Portela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Vasco Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Portela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Malafaia struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sérgio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacos FC. Cacos FC's Valdemar Malafaia got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lacos FC's Sérgio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Perdigão in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute António Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Portela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dércio Portela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Silva in the 68th minute of the match. Mário Perdigão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Malafaia in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Augusto Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Cacos FC booed when Lacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Vale in the 94th minute of play forced Cacos FC's goalkeeper Dércio Portela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lacos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cacos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
