Gralhas FC's Jorge Portela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Vale in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match SC Miradouro got a corner. Gralhas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Neto ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, Emílio Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Portela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Ricardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, SC Miradouro's goal looked a bit too open when Plácido Pinto came free, but Afonso Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Vale was the one to do the kick off. Gralhas FC's Jorge Portela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Vale in the 52nd minute of play. Ricardo Silva hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, SC Miradouro's Ricardo Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Portela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jorge Portela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Vale in the 62nd minute of play. Plácido Pinto got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Afonso Vieira handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. David Portela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Gralhas FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice moves David Portela could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Afonso Vieira however easily saved by the left post. Afonso Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Plácido Pinto in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Plácido Pinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Vieira was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Ricardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Miradouro's Emílio Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Silva struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jorge Portela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Miradouro. Jorge Portela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Santos in the 91st minute of play forced Gralhas FC's goalkeeper Jorge Portela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Portela having to interfere. SC Miradouro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
