Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danilo Damásio made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of SC TAP booed when Vidaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Falcão in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrício Monsanto saved Vidaes from getting behind. After 21 minutes of play, Vidaes's Carlos Camargo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes, Pedro Cavaco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC TAP and the Vidaes players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the match, Vidaes's Rui Neto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Danilo Damásio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Faria having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Tiago Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joaquim Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrício Monsanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Machado in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Tiago Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Falcão in the 49th minute of play forced Vidaes's goalkeeper Patrício Monsanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrício Monsanto came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by SC TAP's Joaquim Falcão. But to his dismay, Joaquim Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tiago Machado made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Tiago Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vidaes's goalkeeper Patrício Monsanto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Faria having to interfere. Danilo Damásio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Carlos Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vidaes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Cavaco was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SC TAP's Pedro Cavaco got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Carlos Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Vidaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Camargo couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Danilo Damásio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Damásio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorge Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidaes's protests and gave Jorge Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Vidaes's Patrício Monsanto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Vidaes from getting a goal against them. Carlos Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
