Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Machado started the match with the kick off. Pedro Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gonçalves in the 8th minute of the match. Jorge Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Faria having to interfere. Joaquim Falcão struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. David Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC TAP. 17 minutes into the match, Tiago Machado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Fonseca, 1-0. Tiago Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Fonseca. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jorge Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandelgas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Miranda in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sandelgas FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marco Figueiredo hit a great ball. Tiago Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62ndth minute of the game Tiago Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandelgas FC's David Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pedro Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Jorge Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Faria. SC TAP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Jorge Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pedro Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Sandelgas FC's Rafael Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. When Rafael Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Sandelgas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Miranda got free with Pedro Faria in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
