In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind PARADISO FC's goalkeeper Albérico Moita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augusto Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Berrega booed when PARADISO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Berrega's Cesário Veríssimo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PARADISO FC. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Berrega's Israel Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albérico Moita. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, PARADISO FC's goalkeeper Albérico Moita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Gueifão. Albérico Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Cruz in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Berrega getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rafael Leite hit a great ball. Sandro Brites showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Campelo in the 24th minute of the match. Albérico Moita made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sérgio Gueifão sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Cruz in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albérico Moita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Sérgio Gueifão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Albérico Moita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albérico Moita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Gueifão in the 36th minute. PARADISO FC's Albérico Moita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save PARADISO FC from getting a goal against them. Israel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Albérico Moita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sérgio Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Berrega's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albérico Moita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albérico Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Cruz in the 44th minute of the match. If Sérgio Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PARADISO FC's Raimundo Vaz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Sérgio Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Israel Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Gueifão in the 58th minute of play forced PARADISO FC's goalkeeper Albérico Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albérico Moita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes, Israel Cruz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. PARADISO FC's Albérico Moita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sérgio Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Albérico Moita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Berrega. Frederico Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Brites having to interfere.
