Alcino Vilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lavradio FC's Aquilino Palmeira got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Aguas's Celso Coelho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alcino Vilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Higino Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lavradio FC booed when Aguas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo Osório received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Armando Ramires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguas's Armando Ramires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Cavaco in the 26th minute of play. Armando Ramires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Osório in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Lavradio FC booed when Aguas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavradio FC's Alcino Vilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Tinoco in the 36th minute of play. Alexandre Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcino Vilar having to interfere. Alcino Vilar made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Higino Borba sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Lavradio FC's Alcino Vilar got control of the ball when Higino Borba tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Juvenal Cavaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lavradio FC's Juvenal Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Higino Borba made a precise shot to the right of Alcino Vilar. Lavradio FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Aristides Prada kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Armando Ramires made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ronaldo Osório sent off a good shot on target. If Ronaldo Osório had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Higino Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higino Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Osório sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Ramires made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ronaldo Osório sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aguas.
