Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lúcio Maia made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Medroa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Coelho came free, but Jacinto Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leca's Américo Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medroa FC's Jacinto Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Antunes in the 14th minute of play. Américo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Fernandes came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Leca's Jorge Coelho. But to his dismay, Jorge Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jacinto Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Coelho's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves António Campos could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Carlos Carvalho however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Antunes in the 25th minute of play forced Medroa FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Américo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leca's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medroa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Jorge Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Américo Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Fernandes. Medroa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Medroa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leca were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Antunes in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Macedo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leca booed when Medroa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, Leca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Campos to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Carvalho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Maia in the 79th minute of play forced Leca's goalkeeper Carlos Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Campos in the 81st minute of the match. Jorge Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Fernandes having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Américo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Antunes in the 91st minute. Leca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
