Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Florence F.C's Gustavo Lima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustavo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Carvalho having to interfere. A collision led to Leca getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fábio Matos hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Florence F.C got a freekick which was hit by Porfírio Couto. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Juvenal Sales put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Carvalho. Leca's Jorge Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Liberato having to interfere. Carlos Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Sales in the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Florence F.C's Diogo Liberato got control of the ball when Américo Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Américo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Jorge Coelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diogo Liberato. Jorge Coelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Florence F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Macedo came free, but Diogo Liberato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Américo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leca's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Liberato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Regalado hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Américo Antunes took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Liberato. Diogo Liberato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Henrique Gaspar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diogo Liberato. Florence F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Florence F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Paiva to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Leca's Jorge Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diogo Liberato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Jorge Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Diogo Liberato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Jacinto Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
