Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) A.C.Milan's Rogério Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Azevedo in the 2nd minute of play. With a little luck, A.C.Milan's Rogério Saraiva got control of the ball when Viriato Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vicente Vilaça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Pacheco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in A.C.Milan's zone, Viriato Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Saraiva came out of the goal and Viriato Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Abel Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gusmão Sales kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Aguiar got free with Rogério Saraiva in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Viriato Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Zedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Viriato Aguiar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogério Saraiva firmly grabbed it by the left post. Abel Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rogério Saraiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Rogério Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Abel Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viriato Aguiar came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogério Saraiva could save by the left post. Viriato Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rogério Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Abel Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, A.C.Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Azevedo came free, but Rogério Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gusmão Sales charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gusmão Sales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gusmão Sales hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Abel Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C.Milan's Rogério Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogério Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Azevedo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, João Correia had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Vicente Vilaça charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Vilaça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Vicente Vilaça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Viriato Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Viriato Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viriato Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Leiria in the 97th minute of play.
