Jordão Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Machado in the 4th minute of play. Jordão Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jordão Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Lisboa in the 11th minute of play. Jordão Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Fernandes went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 23 played minutes Carvalho got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Azeredo. Abel Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porfírio Medeiros got free with Oliveira Machado in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olívio Azeredo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Manuel Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VITOMINAS FC's protests and gave Manuel Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, VITOMINAS FC's Manuel Trindade got a free kick in the 41st minute. Mateusz Walentowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateusz Walentowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, VITOMINAS FC's Mateusz Walentowicz got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Carvalho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VITOMINAS FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horácio Portugal to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jordão Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfírio Medeiros in the 58th minute of play forced VITOMINAS FC's goalkeeper Oliveira Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Carvalho got a freekick which was hit by Belchior Madureira. When Abel Machado came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the VITOMINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Machado couldn't finish the play. Horácio Portugal scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliveira Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute of the match Mauro Gama shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliveira Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rui Lisboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jordão Galvão made a huge save. VITOMINAS FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
