Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Farpado's Vítor Setúbal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. António Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Santarém in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, G.R.E.Queirela's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Setúbal came free, but António Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes G.R.E.Queirela got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Henriques. In the 14th minute Alfredo Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Alfredo Santarém made a precise shot to the right of António Amaro. G.R.E.Queirela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. António Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Vítor Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Amaro having to interfere. Humberto Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Humberto Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.R.E.Queirela's protests and gave Humberto Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. António Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Coimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Santarém in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Santarém in the 38th minute of play forced G.R.E.Queirela's goalkeeper António Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Coimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Vítor Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Gomes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jorge Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cristiano Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Viana to make the kick off. Miguel Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Santarém's late challenge caught a SC Farpado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Santarém helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes G.R.E.Queirela got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Gomes. Alfredo Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Amaro having to interfere. Vítor Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. António Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Setúbal in the 97th minute of play forced G.R.E.Queirela's goalkeeper António Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Farpado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Farpado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
