Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guilhabreu FC's Fernando Soares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiago Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Abreu in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Guilhabreu FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sandro Gomes hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Friestas's goalkeeper André Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Amorim. In the 15th minute Joaquim Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Coelho during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Friestas got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Coelho. Júlio Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tiago Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Joaquim Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guilhabreu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Guilhabreu FC's zone, Júlio Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Correia came out of the goal and Júlio Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Júlio Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Friestas's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Abreu made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Bruno Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Monteiro in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Amorim in the 63rd minute of play forced Friestas's goalkeeper André Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilhabreu FC's Tiago Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Abreu in the 69th minute of play. André Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Soares went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. André Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Esteves hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Fernando Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Friestas's André Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Amorim in the 95th minute of play.
