Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gregório Vilaverde took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Tobias Lage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arronches and the Carragosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tobias Lage hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Noel Fontes scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Cândido Barros who was too lazy, 1-0. In the 9th minute Aprígio Prates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aprígio Prates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Catarino Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carragosa's Catarino Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Prestes in the 16th minute of play. When Arronches's Leandro Prestes in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aprígio Prates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Quaresma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Aprígio Prates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arronches's Aprígio Prates got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Prestes to make the kick off. Aprígio Prates's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Catarino Quaresma firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aprígio Prates got free with Catarino Quaresma in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Carragosa's Abílio Tomé got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Carragosa got a freekick which was hit by Damião Figueira. After having played for 81 minutes, Leandro Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arronches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damião Figueira's late challenge caught a Arronches's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damião Figueira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carragosa's Damião Figueira got a free kick in the 85th minute. Leandro Prestes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carragosa's Catarino Quaresma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Carragosa from getting a goal against them. Damião Figueira came free in the 92nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Cândido Barros, but to the joy of Arronches's supporters the ball went over. Noel Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Arronches supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arronches would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
