ATI QB's Konstanty Scislowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Esteves got free with Manuel Monteiro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ATI QB's Manuel Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Pires in the 19th minute of play. Manuel Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Esteves in the 20th minute. Ernst Strömqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ernst Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Konstanty Scislowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, ATI QB's Manuel Monteiro got control of the ball when Alexandre Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Vasco Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ATI QB getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rogério Cruz hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vítor Pires kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Monteiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Rui Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ATI QB's Manuel Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Pires in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, ATI QB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Lima to maneuver through the defense. Konstanty Scislowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Carlos Simões made a huge save. Manuel Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Esteves went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Afonso Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Ricardo Trindade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerónimo Trancoso hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Santo Adrião FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Ernst Strömqvist scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Simões, making the score, 3-1.
