Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Atlético Cevadas's Hermano Neiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Atlético Cevadas's Valdemar Sesimbra got control of the ball when Sebastião Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Dimas Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Cevadas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Desejosa the free kick. In the 16thth minute of the game Rodrigo Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Cevadas's Valdemar Sesimbra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Gusmão Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermano Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rodrigo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Sesimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Moreira in the 29th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Cevadas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armindo Faria was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Desejosa's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Armindo Faria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdemar Sesimbra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Rocha lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Valdemar Sesimbra. Sebastião Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Valdemar Sesimbra made a huge save. Plácido Modesto hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Atlético Cevadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesário Damásio to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Rocha made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Atlético Cevadas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gusmão Sobral hit a great ball. Armindo Faria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valdemar Sesimbra. Atlético Cevadas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Hermano Neiva took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rodrigo Andrade to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the match, Sebastião Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Sesimbra. Atlético Cevadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, SC Desejosa's Sebastião Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdemar Sesimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sebastião Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SC Desejosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Moreira couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Plácido Modesto during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Atlético Cevadas got a freekick which was hit by Plácido Modesto. Valdemar Sesimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Rocha's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The supporters of SC Desejosa booed when Atlético Cevadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Cevadas's Valdemar Sesimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Rocha in the 93rd minute of play. SC Desejosa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
