Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hermes Tinoco got the match started through his kick off. Cassiano Mendes came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caneiro FC's Diamantino Paredes. But to his dismay, Diamantino Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cassiano Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Caneiro FC's António Dantas got control of the ball when Lucas Sabrosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Sabrosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving António Dantas. That made the score 2-1 in the 17 minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Caeiros's Gaspar Vilela got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cassiano Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Gueifão in the 21st minute of the match. If Lucas Sabrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermes Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cassiano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Lucas Sabrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermes Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sebastião Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Caneiro FC's zone, Hermes Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Dantas came out of the goal and Hermes Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lucas Sabrosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Dantas was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The supporters of SC Caeiros booed when Caneiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sebastião Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caneiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cassiano Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Caeiros's Cassiano Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Paredes in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, SC Caeiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Vilela to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes SC Caeiros got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Regalado. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Caeiros's goalkeeper Cassiano Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Lucas Sabrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Sabrosa in the 80th minute of play forced Caneiro FC's goalkeeper António Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Rui Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caneiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Caeiros the free kick. In the 81st minute, Rui Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When SC Caeiros's Hermes Tinoco in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caneiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Diamantino Paredes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cassiano Mendes came out and tried to block the shot, but Diamantino Paredes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 88th minute. After 91 minutes, Rodrigo Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caneiro FC and the SC Caeiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Caneiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cassiano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Sabrosa in the 96th minute of play. The SC Caeiros supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caneiro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Caneiro FC.
