Spectators: 1 (Terracing: 1, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermes Tinoco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amarante FC's Catarino Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermes Tinoco in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Fernando Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Hermes Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Catarino Moutinho. Amarante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermes Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Hermes Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Caeiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amarante FC the free kick. In the 27th minute, Hermes Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Amarante FC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Amorim. Aloísio Fiúza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Catarino Moutinho. Amarante FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermes Tinoco in the 33rd minute of play forced Amarante FC's goalkeeper Catarino Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Lucas Sabrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amarante FC's Catarino Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermes Tinoco in the 36th minute of play. Oliveira Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cassiano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Álvaro Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catarino Moutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Sabrosa went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Alexandre Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cassiano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermes Tinoco in the 59th minute of play forced Amarante FC's goalkeeper Catarino Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cassiano Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Amarante FC's Fernando Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cassiano Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Amarante FC's Fernando Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Caeiros's goalkeeper Cassiano Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Fernando Ribeiro sped through SC Caeiros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cassiano Mendes. Cassiano Mendes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Amarante FC's Ricardo Magalhães. But to his dismay, Ricardo Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. If Daniel Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Amarante FC fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Amarante FC's Fernando Ribeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amarante FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
