Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Normando Távora made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Sampaio in the 5th minute of play forced Olheiro FC's goalkeeper José Vasques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FENIX FC's Normando Távora got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Távora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vasques having to interfere. FENIX FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Olheiro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardo Lousada took the corner. FENIX FC's Bernardo Lousada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Vasques in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. José Vasques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Távora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Salvado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. José Vasques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Pacheco hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bernardo Lousada was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Veríssimo to make the kick off. Olheiro FC's José Vasques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Olheiro FC from getting a goal against them. Vítor Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sandro Azenha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olheiro FC. Vítor Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FENIX FC's Sandro Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Pacheco in the 58th minute of play. Vítor Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Normando Távora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matias Veríssimo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olheiro FC's protests and gave Matias Veríssimo a yellow card for diving instead. Matias Veríssimo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. José Vasques was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernardo Lousada. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Normando Távora in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Vasques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Eurico Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vítor Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Olheiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Pacheco couldn't finish the play. Matias Veríssimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sandro Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eurico Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
