Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrique Cardoso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Heitor Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Gonçalo Sabrosa sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Cruz's late challenge caught a Aveleiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Antelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 6 minutes, Henrique Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aveleiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualter Moniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heitor Cardoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Gualter Moniz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Gonçalo Sabrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Heitor Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílcar Santos's late challenge caught a Antelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílcar Santos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Antelas FC booed when Aveleiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabiano Damásio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antelas FC's protests and gave Fabiano Damásio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Aveleiras. Ricardo Cruz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Travassos. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Moniz in the 47th minute of play forced Aveleiras's goalkeeper Heitor Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Antelas FC's Manuel Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Cardoso in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Aveleiras's Vítor Matias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Travassos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gualter Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gualter Moniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heitor Cardoso was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Henrique Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Travassos having to interfere. When Octávio Carvalhal fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antelas FC's protests and gave Octávio Carvalhal a yellow card for diving instead. Octávio Carvalhal hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrique Cardoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Travassos. That made the score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. Heitor Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Sabrosa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Aveleiras's Heitor Cardoso. Heitor Cardoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When António Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aveleiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Jesus couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrique Cardoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Travassos. That made the score 2-3 in the 94 minute of play.
