Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC 1143's Gonçalo Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Soares came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC 1143's Gonçalo Correia. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC 1143's Afonso Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Gonçalo Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Correia in the 19th minute of play forced SC Arnozela's goalkeeper Luís Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Gabriel Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Arnozela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC 1143 the free kick. After 24 minutes SC Arnozela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viriato Moutinho who took care of the corner kick. André Cabral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. SC Arnozela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. André Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but José Correia made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Rocha in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Soares saved SC Arnozela from getting behind. In the 39thth minute of the game Afonso Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Arnozela's Luís Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gonçalo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC 1143's Gonçalo Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st match minute, FC 1143 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bulcsú Kalmár to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luís Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonçalo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Amadeu Neves fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Arnozela's protests and gave Amadeu Neves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Arnozela's Amadeu Neves got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Gonçalo Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heitor Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heitor Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Gonçalo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC 1143's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Arnozela's Gabriel Rodrigues got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Gabriel Rodrigues off the ground. A collision led to SC Arnozela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gabriel Rodrigues hit a great ball. Gabriel Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, SC Arnozela's goalkeeper Luís Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Rocha. André Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC 1143 played a much better game than SC Arnozela and deserved their victory. The SC Arnozela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
