When Zeferino Vilanova fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veni Vidi Vici FC's protests and gave Zeferino Vilanova a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Veni Vidi Vici FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Zeferino Vilanova hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Figueirinha's Claudemiro Gonçalves got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Peseiro in the 29th minute of play forced Veni Vidi Vici FC's goalkeeper Vítor Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Figueirinha's Carlos Peseiro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 59th minute Carlos Peseiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Figueirinha's Wilson Portela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save SC Figueirinha from getting a goal against them. Veni Vidi Vici FC's Vítor Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Peseiro in the 71st minute of play. Severino Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Carlos Peseiro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Nascimento. After a defensive mix-up in SC Figueirinha's zone, Benedito Seixas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Portela came out of the goal and Benedito Seixas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benedito Seixas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Veni Vidi Vici FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Seixas couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Wilson Portela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Claudemiro Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudemiro Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. Vítor Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Peseiro in the 96th minute of the match. SC Figueirinha were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Veni Vidi Vici FC for a fine match.
