Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Diogo Valente started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Mendes FC booed when Chussos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Serpa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mendes FC's Afonso Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chussos FC's Idalécio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Valente in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Delfim Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Idalécio Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Valente went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Chussos FC's Idalécio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Lopes in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Chussos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Vigário to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Idalécio Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Lopes in the 15th minute of the match. When Mendes FC's Diogo Valente, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mendes FC. A hard shot 27 in the game by Nicolas Paredes from a close distance when the talented Cristiano Esteves managed to make a qualified save. Mendes FC's players were relieved. Jorge Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cristiano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Esteves having to make a save. Diogo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Diamantino Vigário managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chussos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Vigário was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nicolas Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mendes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filipe Azeredo was slow to take the kick. During this time Chussos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chussos FC's Filipe Azeredo to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristiano Esteves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicolas Paredes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Cristiano Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chussos FC. Jorge Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Lopes struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Idalécio Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mendes FC. Xavier Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Idalécio Santana made a huge save. Xavier Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idalécio Santana having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Xavier Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chussos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Nicolas Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicolas Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Chussos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Paredes couldn't finish the play. The Mendes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mendes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
