Rafael Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Toscano having to interfere. Rafael Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Evandro Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rafael Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evandro Toscano was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. SC Canelas's Evandro Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Rocha in the 34th minute of play. André Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Evandro Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Rocha in the 48th minute of play forced SC Canelas's goalkeeper Evandro Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 51st match minute, Segade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Rocha to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Segade's Evandro Toscano threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Óscar Guerreiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 55th minute, Rafael Sá fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Evandro Toscano, passed just outside the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Segade's André Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evandro Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rafael Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Segade's Evandro Toscano threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Sá in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evandro Toscano saved SC Canelas from getting behind. André Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Evandro Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, António Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Segade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Rafael Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Canelas's goalkeeper Evandro Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, André Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segade's supporters rose to their feet, but André Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
