Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Segade's Rafael Sá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Maia having to interfere. Jarbas Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Rocha in the 4th minute of the match. Jarbas Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Rocha's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Rafael Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Carneiro having to interfere. Rafael Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarbas Maia having to make a save. André Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldaír Marinho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Segade's André Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Rafael Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rafael Matias came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the F.C Pernas de Pau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Matias couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Fiúza made a kick off. Jorge Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Matias's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. A collision led to Segade getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sérgio Brito hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Matias in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Fiúza in the 64th minute of play forced Segade's goalkeeper Jorge Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Catarino Ferro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segade and the F.C Pernas de Pau players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Segade's Catarino Ferro got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jorge Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segade were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after F.C Pernas de Pau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Amaral took the corner. After taking down the ball on Segade's corner Francisco Amaral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarbas Maia quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Segade's goalkeeper Jorge Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Pernas de Pau's zone, Rafael Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Maia came out of the goal and Rafael Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Rafael Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When F.C Pernas de Pau's Rafael Matias, in the 86th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for F.C Pernas de Pau. If Leonardo Fiúza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Carneiro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Pernas de Pau's Rafael Matias. But to his dismay, Rafael Matias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jorge Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Fiúza in the 95th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Leonardo Fiúza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C Pernas de Pau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
