Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gastão Caeiro made the kick off and thus started the match. Ricardo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Paião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, SC Morais's Marco Andrade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marco Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Marco Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Morais's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Chagas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Nuno Bentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Marco Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Lourenço Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Morais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Márcio Chagas made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Lourenço Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the game, Garrido's Gastão Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marco Andrade made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Garrido's zone, Lourenço Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Chagas came out of the goal and Lourenço Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marco Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bento Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Morais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Almeida couldn't finish the play. Garrido's Márcio Chagas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Andrade in the 71st minute of play. Adriano Paião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lourenço Carvalho in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márcio Chagas saved Garrido from getting behind. When Lourenço Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Morais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Garrido's Márcio Chagas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Andrade in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Morais's Marco Andrade got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Marco Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Márcio Chagas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Márcio Chagas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lourenço Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Morais were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
