Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Galifonge's Gustavo Luz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Galifonge's Rui Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nivaldo Peseiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Galifonge getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luís Almeida hit a great ball. Basílio Brito scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Aleixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nivaldo Peseiro came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Galifonge's Gustavo Luz. But to his dismay, Gustavo Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Algar getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Quintino Maia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Máximo Coimbra during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adelino Leão shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nivaldo Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Rui Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nivaldo Peseiro having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quintino Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Basílio Brito made a precise shot to the right of André Aleixo. Galifonge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rui Castro in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nivaldo Peseiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Augusto Vieira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gustavo Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nivaldo Peseiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Galifonge's Gustavo Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Gustavo Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Castro scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nivaldo Peseiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Algar's Nivaldo Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Luz in the 75th minute of play. Gustavo Luz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Nivaldo Peseiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galifonge. Gustavo Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nivaldo Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Quintino Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Algar's Nivaldo Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Luz in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
