A very good chance. Álvaro Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abílio Granja in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mário Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Quintas was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Santarém in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Quintas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Severiano Moutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirandella and the Mourlinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mourlinho FC booed when Mirandella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Cândido Brites shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abílio Granja, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Brites in the 36th minute of play forced Mourlinho FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Ribeiro was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Cândido Brites capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cândido Brites really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 76th minute, Filipe Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Aldo Abreu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, António Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricardo Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Mário Rocha made a precise shot to the right of António Quintas. Mirandella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 90 minutes into the match, Mourlinho FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cândido Brites. Álvaro Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abílio Granja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Quintas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Rocha in the 93rd minute of the match. Álvaro Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Granja in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mirandella players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mourlinho FC.
